Our leadership team reflects...

Yesterday, we had our first leadership team meeting after taking the month of August off from our regular leadership meetings and our children's ministry. 

During our meeting, we took the time to reflect on the last year of ministry.  I had the leaders comment on the positive things that happened as a result of their ministry over the last year.  They made a list on the board.  We discussed these things and then made a list of the things they'd like to do differently or ways they'd like to improve in the next year. 

It was WONDERFUL to see them thinking this way and to see how excited they got about it all.  It's easy to see they are passionate about their work.  They really want to honor God through their ministry, see people come to know Jesus and help their students improve in their basic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic.  

I'm excited for the next year.  It will be fun to see how they continue to grow and how God continues to use them for His glory.
